CSR and Sustainability

Prime Atlantic Group is committed to improving environmental performance, as stated in our (ESG) Environmental Policy.

Our office is naturally compliant with all environmental legislation and requirements. We dedicate time to embedding sustainable development, and minimising impacts relating to our products and services.

• Going paperless where possible, emailing documentation over excessive printing and digital notetaking
• Compiling reports of our real-time energy consumption

All rooms, including the bathrooms, have motion sensor lights, which aid in cutting electricity usage (scope 2) when the room is not in use.

Scope 3 emissions are a key focus for us, so in the shared kitchen, we increased recycling efforts, being cautious about washing and separating paper, cardboard, and plastics.

We are currently working on monitoring our office’s water usage, focusing on dishwasher cycles and automatic tap cut-offs. This aids to push down any scope 1 and 2 emissions across our offices and project sites.

Prime Atlantic is exceedingly proud of our leadership team driving fully electric cars to promote a greener lifestyle. Similarly, some members opt to cycle to the office to cut on pollution and CO2 emissions.

Alongside standard health and safety training, we educate all employees with eco-focused training, teaching them the full meaning of CSR and sustainability as well as ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) Standards. We are also working on educating our staff more about the Paris Agreement, and the dangers behind global temperature reaching the critical 1.5°C increase.

Similarly, we motivate all employees to work with an environmentally cautious insight and be more aware of their environmental impact and carbon footprint, both in and out of the office. We aim to reduce both in use operational emissions and upfront embodied emissions, stemming from materials, manufacturing, and transportation.

Throughout all our services, we aim to minimise unnecessary consumption of resources, therefore reducing emissions covering all three major scopes.

Lastly, we are pairing with Amazon and other clients to expand our sustainability efforts and goals.
